The major fossil find was between Wyoming, United States, and New Mexico, which more then 60 completed and partial skeletons of adults to juveniles’ dinosaurs was recovered from the Morrison Formation. Other fossil find was in Utah, United States, and Tanzania.
Based on skeleton structures, they had a strong s-shaped necked, two sturdy legs and a powerful tail. With a combination of a strong back and neck to assisted the jaw and teeth that were curved backward around 5-10cm long with serrated front and back edges, it was proved to be particularly useful for tearing off chunks of flesh.
Allosaurus was not built for speed as they had quite short arms compared to its legs. There arms ended in three long, hook-like claws that was useful for attacking and holding on to prey. It feet were much larger, with one toe pointing towards it tail giving it better stability.
